it's super sad it has taken me this long to find this band. i wish i knew about them when i was younger, but im certainly glad ive found them now. freakin' amazing.
The problem with japanese is, they dont know that the whole world look them on anything they do.. They dont know how important people are for us.. Is like they live on a different planet.. In some point that is true but we can see and feel them.. Someday they must know how beautiful and important people they are.. The talent of these people is beyond words.. "Koga" continue to smile.. Your smile and your feelings is one of the greatest parts of this band..
They are proof that when the founders of a band are not the original singer, and the band leader does not sing at all (in this case she plays bass), you can change your line up as many times as you want, especialy at singer, and not lose your identity.

But isn't the opposite true as well? If you love them you've probably heard Dolls Apartment and Delicious, and noticed that she's not just a slap machine, she is INDEED an extremely talented and versatile bassist, and the fact that she is also cute shouldn't undermine this fact. Yes, she's not the best bassist evaaaa (no one is), but she's more than just "good". Anyway this whole band is such a wonder, especially Tomo-Zo.
I have to listen to this at least once a day. That synchronize bass and guitar swing, flip or whatever they call it is so cool that, especially for bass. Was Malmsteen first to do this?
It makes me sad too. I tried (last year) to get a copy of their debut album ("Virgin-A"), but it wasn't possible (tried 4 times from 4 different sites). I bought the rest of their discography and DVDs with no problems, but not that album. Thank god for Firefox's ability to rip RUclips videos in MP4/MP3 format, otherwise I'd be totally lost ;)

The lead singer sounds a lot like Ayako from Nakanomori band. The bassist and drummer are the best musicians but they are all so good that it is a very tight group. Like the vocals very much also. Lyndon

I assume you've heard her on "Juicy Beats"?... Her solo on the video version of that song (and the now unavailable "Virgin-A" album) is one of the greatest base solos I've ever heard! But don't bother comparing that version to "Juicy Beats" on the "Delicious Live" album, because it isn't the same...
LOL! As I respond to this, I'm sitting on my couch wearing my Gacharic Spin t-shirt! I've been slowing building my J-Rock CD collection. I have a friend in Japan that I buy American stuff he can't get and he feeds my J-Rock/J-Pop addiction. Right now all I have is the 2010-2014 greatest hits. I'm still a metalhead at heart so some of the uber-poppy stuff is a little too much for me but I'm slowing warming up to it because the musicianship is just crazy good. On a side note, my GS shirt came with a hand written note and autograph from Koga. That totally made my day when I saw that!

@@anaran4811 Once you get the taste for Gacharic Spin them becoming your favourite band is inevitable IMO XD I've travelled to Japan multiple times to watch them live and they've been stunning every time. Planning to go again next year provided things have calmed down enough! That said I hope they'll think about doing more overseas tours again soon!

Japan had never been in my interests, but now I'm learning the language, and going to a Gachapin concert (or several, for that matter) is one of my life goals right now. Unfortunately, in my current situation, I cannot go, so I'll have to wait a couple of years. It's even a motivation because now I want to do things as best as I can to finally be able to go watch them live!
Yes, she can do it live, that's why I like her. Frauds = beh :p And she deserves to be praised, but not to that extent. Somehow I can't help thinking that her being adulated out of proportion is mainly due to the mostly male demographics of the band (just look the crowd in any of their shows) and to her looks. There are tons of other male (and less cute female) bassists playing just as well or much better who don't get that kind of recognition. Which I find a bit sad for women, men, and music.

ローランドイベントで初めて生演奏聞いたけど、みんな安定してた。
ライブパフォーマンスもがっつりするけど、リズム隊も全然狂わず。
でも確かに、キーボーディストいれたほうがいいくらい、キーボードの割合多い。
